White-washed rural apartment. Peristeronas Manor is a fully autonomous guesthouse aged since the late 18th century. It was named after the hand-made cycladic columbarium built on its rooftop. Today, this “peristeronas” (the greek word for columbarium) is considered of extreme rarity in the entire island, and it offers shelter to small birds as to lay their eggs as well as to emigrant birds in the harvest season.

**The premises do not include electric air conditions. The thick stone foundations create a stable indoor environment without temperature fluctuations, so throughout the day the temperature will be naturally cool. Also, the National Archeological Committee does not allow the addition of electrical devices to be installed in exposed areas, because it would alter the traditional design of the establishment.
***For 2020, due to covid-19 outbreak, we have a strict policy of Check-in and Check-out, in order to thoroughly clean the house. until your departure, you can stay at the common areas of the establisment as long as you need.
Peristeronas comprises a spacious living room, with a fireplace and two built comfortable divans, and a separate room with double bed and embedded wash-basin. It also features an equipped kitchen, a built bathroom and private indoor and outdoor sitting/dining area.
The decoration is mainly rustic with antiques and handmade furniture. Guests’ are finally able to gaze the green Valley of Eggares and the farming village of Galini as well as to hear the ocean’s breeze from the house’s rooftop.
